Saved trips and reminders (the trip planner)

• What a saved trip holds. When you press "Save my trip", we keep the trip on our servers (Cloudflare): the cities, the dates, how many travel, the trains, buses, airlines and hotel it uses, and what you tick as booked or done. There is no account and no name. We never ask for a passport or payment details.
• The private link. A saved trip opens with its private link. The part after the # is its key: your browser keeps it on your device ("My trips") and never sends it to another site. We keep only a one-way fingerprint of the key, so a copy of our database can't be used to change or delete your trip.
• Notifications. If you switch them on, your browser gives us an address at its own push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft) and keys for it. We use them only to send this trip's reminders, encrypted so only your device can read them.
• Email. Only if you type an address and then click the link in our confirm email. We use it only for this trip's reminders and alerts, sent through our email provider (Resend). Every email has a one-click stop; stopping wipes the address.
• Reading your sentence. What you type in the planner is read by our own rules. When they can't read a place or a date, the sentence may be sent to Anthropic's Claude API to read it; it's used to answer that one request.
• How long. Press "Delete this trip" and the trip, its reminders and any email address on it are deleted at once. Otherwise a trip is deleted 30 days after it ends.
• Our activity log counts plans and saves with the trip's cities, never a trip's address or key.
